For our Chef Instructors, we are looking for energetic go-getters who can perform the duties of:

• an entertainer
• a prep cook
• a teacher/mentor
• a cooking coach
• a salesperson

The ideal candidate(s) will need to have:

• an easy-going, fun personality
• public speaking skills
• teaching skills - preference will be given to former and current primary school teachers
• the ability to be ready to learn new things fast
• an eye for detail and be observant
• the ability to be attentive and obliging to our customers
• the ability to interact with adults from all walks of life - various ages, higher education, and ethnic backgrounds
• the ability to assist with sales of various products like wine and beer

We put on a show every night and YOU are the STAR, so it's just like being on the Food Network. You MUST BE READY:

• to entertain and make people laugh
• to be very informative
• to be patient and kind
• to lead and direct large groups to keep them on track and focused
• to deal with the presence of alcohol
• to realize you are there to serve our customers with respect and that it is not all about you
• to be able to work evenings and weekends in addition to weekday, daytime events
• to go through extensive training in our operations, how to conduct classes, how to interact with people, about wine and beer, etc.

Initially, these will be part-time, contract positions, but the best candidates will have a huge opportunity to grow and possibly move into full time.  You will go through a three month probationary training period, after which it will be determined if we are a good fit for you and vice-versa.
